Mansoor Zakaria

Mansoor Zakaria is a Principal and Board Member at New Vernon Wealth Management, and co-portfolio Manager of the NextGen Growth Portfolio. He joined the firm in 2010 after a long career as an entrepreneur, Silicon Valley CEO, and a private venture investor.

Earlier in his career, at Charles Schwab, he led the team that pioneered electronic brokerage. Subsequently, he was a strategic advisor & consultant to top management at Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan & led the firm that developed GS Worldwide equity research service and JP Morgan Advisor Edge service.

Prior to that, among other enterprises, he founded a financial data company and was a key adviser/investor in a mobile app start-up – both of which were successfully sold.

Mansoor received a B.A. in Economics from Ferguson College, in India and is a graduate of the MIT/YEO Executive Management Program, Birthing of Giants.
